Capturing Stilton for the Christmas edition
We were delighted to welcome Countryside Magazine to the Dairy for a behind-the-scenes look at what makes Colston Bassett Stilton and Shropshire Blue so special.
From traditional cheesemaking methods and the craft behind our award-winning blue cheeses to the people, passion, farms and fresh milk behind every wheel, there was plenty to share.
Our Head Cheesemaker, Billy, took the team on a tour of the Dairy, offering an insight into the skill and care that go into every stage and every cheese. We then headed out to meet our fantastic farming teams and the cows that produce the delicious milk at the heart of our cheesemaking.
It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the craftsmanship, people and farming heritage behind our cheeses.
